As a practicing attorney, Jessica has devoted her entire career to advocating for parents and children. When she began practicing in 2013, initially as a Guardian ad Litem for children in foster care in St. Louis, Missouri. When she moved to Chicago in 2015, she worked as an educational attorney advocating on behalf the parents of children with special needs. While she enjoyed her work in both areas, it was not until 2017 that Jessica found her niche as a family law practitioner. Since then, she has dedicated herself exclusively to the practice of family and divorce law.

Jessica considers herself a problem solver who is dedicated to helping clients resolve problems, not stirring new ones up.
She has extensive experience as a litigator who able to effectively and professionally advocate for her clients in court.
Outside of the courtroom, she is also a dedicated counselor to her clients, providing support and guidance about the legal process with a focus on conflict resolution. She recognizes the extensive benefits of collaboration in family law, which lead her to pursue training in mediation and collaborative divorce. When counseling her clients, Jessica encourages them to consider all avenues for resolving their legal disputes because she has seen the empowerment her clients feel when they solve their own problems rather than leaving life-altering decisions in a stranger’s hands.
Prior to attending law school at Saint Louis University School of Law, Jessica earned her bachelor’s degree in English at the University of Iowa with a focus on creative writing. Her early dedication to persuasive and impactful writing is still evident in the legal pleadings and motions.
