Prior to joining STG Divorce Law, Tony represented clients in many areas of family law, including prenuptial agreements, uncontested and contested dissolutions of marriage, post-dissolution matters, and parentage cases. 

Before practicing family law, Tony primarily represented public school boards of education, as well as other local governmental entities such as community college boards of trustees, municipalities, and park districts. In Tony’s years of defending local governmental entities, he served local governmental entities and their administrators as a day-to-day advocate, but also litigated personal injury, contract, labor, construction, property tax, and employment discrimination disputes and appeals. Tony’s experience in this regard vested him with a wide range of knowledge on many different subjects and areas of law.

Background

Tony received his Bachelor of Arts from The University of Iowa, where he majored in communication studies, minored in Spanish, and minored in entrepreneurship at The University of Iowa’s Henry B. Tippie College of Business. Tony graduated from Valparaiso University School of Law. While in law school, Tony was a professor’s assistant in Legal Writing and Contract Drafting classes and was voted by his law school’s staff as a recipient of the American Society of Legal Writers’ National Order of Scribes Award for outstanding legal writing while in law school.    

Tony is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and Will County Bar Association.
