Abby Bartelson

Abby Bartelson focuses her practice on all aspects of family law, including divorce, parentage, and post-decree matters. Understanding the uncertainty and emotional complexity inherent in family law matters, she is committed to guiding clients through challenging times with compassion and clarity. She takes a thoughtful approach to craft creative, collaborative outcomes tailored to each family’s unique circumstances while steadfastly advocating for her clients’ interests.
Abby earned her Juris Doctor and Certificate in Advocacy from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. During law school, she was the captain of the Civil Litigation Mock Trial Team and she continues to serve as an adjunct faculty coach for the team. Abby also served as a teaching assistant for Legal Writing I and II students and received the CALI Excellence for the Future award in Legal Writing III. Abby received her Bachelor of Science in legal studies and philosophy from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
