Palmer, licensed to practice law in Illinois in 1994, is a 1994 graduate of Loyola University Chicago School of Law, and received his undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1991. Raif has past legal experience in commercial litigation, business transactions, and personal injury litigation, but has concentrated in family law and dissolution of marriage for the past several years. Raif is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association where he was reappointed to the Family Law Section Council for a fourth consecutive year, and chairs the Dissipation of Assets Committee. He is a member of the DuPage County Bar Association, where he is the Chair of the Membership Committee. Raif is also a member of the Will County Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Raif is a Fellow in the Collaborative Law Institute of Illinois, a former Guardian ad Litem for the Circuit Court of the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit, and a former Arbitrator for the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit.
