Carrara, admitted to practice law in Illinois in 2001, received her law degree from John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois in 2001 with honors. She is a 1993 graduate of Boston University. Emily has concentrated in family law and dissolution of marriage cases since beginning the practice of law. Emily is a member of the American Bar Association, The Illinois State Bar Association, the DuPage County Bar Association, the Kane County Bar Association, the DuPage County Association of Women Lawyers and the Will County Bar Association. She is a Guardian ad Litem for the Circuit Court of the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit.
